Deer, Indian roller, Jammi and Cassia as official Telangana mascots

Going through facebook became a source of news to me now- a-days. Latest news is that few official icons of Telangana state being changed considering the history, heritage, culture, traditions, and values of telangana people.  The announced are Deer, Indian roller (also called Palapitta, Blue jay), Jammi also called Shami (Prosopis cineraria) and Cassia flower or tangedu puvvu (Cassia auriculata) as state animal, bird, tree and flower, respectively. 

Best sequel ever..‘It takes a man and woman’

I am never a fan of sequels which most of the times don’t reach our expectations. In such situations I feel why they even make us to read/watch and destroy the pleasant feeling left by the initial hit version. But this is not the case of ‘It takes a man and woman,’ a sequel to ‘A very special love’ and ‘You changed my life’. If I say it is even better than its prequel, trust me, how much I got to love this, to say this sentence? I like John Lloyd Cruz, just not only because he resembles my boyfriend, but also he got such an innocent and expressive face, so one can connect with all the roles he played in.

A Tribute to 'Padma vibhushan' Kaloji on his centenary birthday

Flipping through the past articles, I came across the news that our Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao laid foundation for a memorial ‘Kaloji cultural complex’ at Balasamudram in Hanamkonda and paid tributes to People’s poet, Padma vibhushan- Kaloji Narayana rao aka Kaloji on his centenary birthday. I danced with joy that finally the suppressed Telangana excellence for generations is going to be showcased and I strongly wanted to be a part of it’s endeavour. Most south Indian film industries, in fact Bollywood also, produced few talents monarched over decades with tremendous stardom and their heir ap'parence passed over. Now their younger generations are tossed on our face and seriously it’s been an eyesore to have a look at our so called heroes with ugly faces and an elementary level action. Oh! it is not limited there. Few of them have princely-syndrome clearly noticed during interviews, sometimes we feel to smack on their faces in order to bring them back to reality. Stereotype action, rayalaseema faction backdrops, or mafia, unrelated comedy patches, graphic fight sequences and heavy metal music, there has been an endless list making us back out to go to theater. Movie makers, please make a note while revising your failures. Audience are not fools. We don’t expect an intellectual movie genre, but a convincing script is enough for us.

In terms of technical aspects, telugu movies are giving strong competition to foreign films, but with those recycled stories, overly hyped heroism, loud music and meaningless humour, honestly, I lost interest after getting addicted to Hollywood and K-movies and I may give strict opinions so if offended people are out there, stop reading from here.
