Going through facebook
became a source of news to me now- a-days. Latest news is that few official icons
of Telangana state being changed considering the history, heritage, culture, traditions,
and values of telangana people. The announced
are Deer, Indian roller (also called Palapitta, Blue jay), Jammi also called Shami
(Prosopis cineraria) and Cassia flower or
tangedu puvvu (Cassia auriculata) as state animal, bird, tree and flower,
respectively.
